THE SCHOOL COUNCIL HAS 4 MAIN OFFICERS:
CHAIRPERSON - Hannah Duggan
Run meetings and lead discussions
helps to prepare Agenda
Talks with the tutors and senior management about the council's thoughts,
ideas and suggestions
attends staff and governors meetings as appropriate
read notices in Assembly
Make sure everyone on the council is involved.
VICE CHAIRPERSON - Shane Healey
Keep in touch with all the form and year representatives
chairs meetings when the chairperson is away
check that representatives have done what they agreed to do
Helps and supports the chairperson in their job
SECRETARY - Nia Meredith
Helps prepare agenda
Makes notes during meeting of important issues that are discussed and
all decisions that are made
Writes up the notes and keeps them in a book or file called the Minute
Book
Treasurer - Mark Davies
Keeps to all financial procedures set out in the constitution
Writes a report on how much money has been spent, what it has been
spent on and how much is left.
Special committees have also been appointed by the chairperson the
bullying and publicty committee as these are two main areas we wanted to concentrate on this year. The chair on the bullying
committee is Jess Evans
The chair on the publicity committee is Anna Bowen.
